Hadassah, The Women’s Zionist Organization of America, Inc. (“Hadassah”) believes that electronic privacy is crucial to the ongoing success of the Internet as a service, and as a commercial and entertainment medium, and therefore uses its reasonable efforts to protect the confidentiality of your personal information. We and our hosting providers encrypt credit card (billing) information whenever credit card information is requested online.  The personal information we receive from our Website is accessible only by staff and volunteers designated to handle that information for business purposes of The Hadassah Entities or by vendors who have signed agreements with confidentiality obligations.  Such information is used for our business purposes and as we may otherwise be directed by you (e.g., to process a donation, to receive additional information about a Program, or to transmit e-mail correspondence to individuals outside Hadassah).  Hadassah may share information with its affiliates, including without limitation, Hadassah Medical Relief Association, Inc., The Hadassah Foundation, Inc. and each of their respective affiliates, related entities, and the local units of Hadassah (collectively and together with Hadassah, “The Hadassah Entities”).   The Hadassah Entities do not share information about your individual visits to our Website, nor do The Hadassah Entities share, sell, trade, or rent your personal information that you provide to us whether offline or through the Website, such as your name, address, e-mail address, telephone number, credit card account number, etc., to any outside parties except as directed or authorized by you or when we believe that (i) the law requires it, (ii) disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, property or safety of The Hadassah Entities, our members, donors, or others, (iii) your actions on our Website violate the Terms, Conditions and Disclosures stated herein, (iv) we need to send the information to companies or individuals who work with The Hadassah Entities to process transactions for, or provide a product or service to, you or to The Hadassah Entities, (v) it is necessary for business purposes of The Hadassah Entities, (vi) it is for legal, accounting, or regulatory purposes, including compliance with civil subpoenas and requests from law enforcement, (vii) it is necessary to enforce the Terms, Conditions and Disclosures, (viii) it is necessary to respond to claims that any information you provide violates the rights of third parties; (ix) the disclosure is in relation to the sale, assignment, transfer or acquisition of all or substantially all of the assets of one or more of The Hadassah Entities by a third party or (x) other reasons we determine in good faith to be necessary or appropriate; provided, however that, The Hadassah Entities will not share your personal information with companies or individuals who work with The Hadassah Entities for business purposes or to offer you a product or service if you send an opt-out request by e-mail, to admin@seattlehadassah.org.  For the avoidance of doubt, this Privacy Policy applies, without limitation, to our members, donors and other individuals that use this Website or otherwise provide us with their personal information.
