President’s Message

I have come to realize all good leaders make a practice of looking after and inspiring the people around them to bring out their best qualities. These leaders believe in doing good for others and have a feeling of fulfillment.  Hadassah Hospital leaders have set the standard to protect their staff by testing them every 5 days for COVID. To ease the loneliness and isolation of COVID-patients, read here what the staff did that other Israeli hospitals emulated.

You can also listen to the webinar here where you’ll learn Hadassah is bleeding cash doing all it can for COVID patients.  Furthermore, COVID is challenging children-at-risk in Hadassah’s Youth Aliyah villages.  Read more about this here.

I have an idea how we can all be good leaders and raise some funds, too, but I need your help.  In fact, President Obama told the nationwide graduating class, “If you don’t ask for help, you’ll never make it alone.”   Let’s honor the graduating high school and university seniors we know with personal tribute cards ordered from Seattle Hadassah.  Especially this year, these graduates need a lot of people shining a light on them.  How exciting that we in Seattle Hadassah are letting these young people know we still have the power to choose how we respond to this crisis. Click here to order.

May one mitzvah lead to another,

Ettie Davis, President
