Imagine if Hadassah member Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg—RBG— were not so busy on the U.S. Supreme Court. She might be interested in attending our #MeToo program scheduled for Sunday, January 12th in Northeast Seattle. #MeToo is a hot topic in academic science, engineering, and medicine. Even before #MeToo, Ginsburg has long been a “fierce champion of justice, gender equality, individual dignity, and inclusivity.” Read more about RBG being inducted into the Hall of Fame at the Philadelphia Jewish Museum here. The #MeToo” movement connects the generations
,. Justice Ginsburg would surely encourage you to bring your daughters, granddaughters, nieces and young friends to this program. It’ll be empowering!
Israel was also involved in issues of gender harassment before #MeToo in 2017, as described in Hadassah Magazine: “#GamAni, the #MeToo Movement in Israel” You can open links to other eye-opening articles, “When Rabbis Say #MeToo” and “What’s Changed in the Jewish World After #MeToo?”
