Response to Asian Hate

Hadassah Seattle is proud to be a part of the Jewish Community Relations Council of the Jewish Federation of Greater Seattle (JCRC). The JCRC is horrified and deeply saddened by the murders in Atlanta that were committed at a time of increasing violent attacks on Asian American and Pacific Islander communities and are rooted in racism and xenophobic fearmongering. As Jews, we are commanded lo ta’amod al dam rey’echa — to not stand idly by in the face of violence. We are here for our Asian American and Pacific Islander family, friends, and neighbors, and remain committed partners in working together to combat hate and bias and uphold our shared vision of safety and freedom for all.
